What is the best solution to back pain caused by severe scoliosis?

What types of treatment have you had that gives lasting relief from the pain of spinal curvature? Surgery v. other treatments.
I am a 58 year old woman who is experiening pain during intercourse. Is there treatment for this?

I get urethra infections 50% of the time after intercourse. Low grade, treatable, but painful, none the less. I have had yeast infections in the past, but this is becoming very commonplace and persistent.

my father is in his late 60s and has been diagonised with Hyperthyroidism is there a parmenent treatment?

the frequency of crises has increase in recent times and he has lost so much weight with swellings in his feet and pain at the knees what do we do?
