How can someone without health insurance recieve medical treatment?

I have signed up for med. insurance at my job and it will not kick in until January. I just realised I might be needing some medical attention now, how do I get it? I have severe back pain.

  • *car accident while pregnant* How much can I ask for “pain & suffering”?

I was 4 month pregnant when rear ended at a red light. The driver yelled at me, threatened to leave b4 police arrived, and even elbowed me in my pregnant stomach when i tried to waive police over to the site! I had 5 months of chiropractor treatments and I was very uncomfortable! Hard enough being pregnant in the summer, let alone not being able to sit anywhere for more than 5 minutes straight! Needless to say, my social life left me confined to my house so i can lay on my side, which felt the best. Her insurance admitted fault and will pay the discounted medical bills of $3,700. They are offering $500 for me for pain and suffering. I told him I deserve more and he asked me to put it in writing. I’m wondering how much to ask for that is reasonable????
