Sciatica Pain Treatment?
I have had sciatica pain for about a month. When I have neck pain I go to my Accupressure person (not accupuncture, no needles), and the next day I feel great and the pain is gone. I want to go see him for this sciatica pain, but am wondering if accupressure will make it better or make it worse. Has anyone out there used this treatment (pressure) for sciatica and how much has it helped? Thank you for any ideas you can offer. I do not want to take any drugs as the regular doctor suggests.

Is Degenerative Disk Disease the same as Diskogenic Pain?

I was diagnosed with annular tear and mild disk bulge, C5-6, with diskogenic neck pain. Is degenerative disk disease the same as diskogenic pain? I read under degenerative disk disease that some of the treatment are with spinal fusion. I had a Anterior Cervical Disectomy and Fusion and thats one of the most common surgery treatments.

I went to the er for neck and back pain,they said it was muscle strain and muscle spasms?
they gave me some muscle relaxers and some coding for a couple of days.THey said to make an appointment with my doctor on Monday could not get one till tuesday ,which is nothing new with them i can never get an appointment with him and when i do i feel like he is in the office with me for five minutes and sends me on my way.He gave me some different medicine to take and it is not helping me with my pain at all.I was wondering if anyone knew the right treatment for this type of problem.
