Some people suggest to put Honey or “Compressed” Breast Milk on the affected area. Is it really useful, or not? If yes, is it applicable only in first couple days for pain reduction or infection prevention, or helpful in any time to fulfill the healing process? What is compressed breast milk? How to compress this milk?

I support better treatment, but I’m just curious as to why people oppose an alternative to pain and suffering.
